About the job

Your profile

  • You have completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic or Aircraft Avionics Technician (m/f/d), or hold a comparable qualification.
    • Depending on your area of expertise, you also hold one of the following qualifications:
      • EASA Part-66 Category B1.2 licence (Certifying Staff), or
      • EASA Part-66 Category B2 licence (Certifying Staff)
  • In addition, you bring:
    • Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair
    • Experience in General Aviation and with piston aircraft is an advantage
    • Very good German and a good command of written and spoken English
    • A conscientious and independent approach to work
    • A strong commitment to quality and a high sense of responsibility
    • A team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for working in a diverse technical environment
  • As CAT B1.2:
    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on piston aircraft, including Cirrus, Cessna, Piper, Mooney and Beechcraft, as well as turbine-powered aircraft from Daher, Embraer and Textron
    • Carry out repairs, functional checks and troubleshooting on aircraft systems, including engines
    • Process work orders and ensure complete and accurate maintenance documentation
    • Inspect and release aircraft following maintenance within the scope of your qualifications
  • As CAT B2:
    • Perform maintenance and servicing of avionics systems, including communication, radar and autopilot systems
    • Analyse faults, troubleshoot and rectify defects in electrical and electronic aircraft systems
    • Replace defective assemblies and components
    • Install and maintain sensors, electronic control and regulation systems, as well as electro-pneumatic and hydraulic actuators
    • Process work orders and ensure complete and accurate maintenance documentation
    • Inspect and release aircraft following maintenance within the scope of your qualifications
  • Depending on your experience and qualifications, you will work independently, as part of a team or take on a supervisory role.
