Once the respective processing purpose has been achieved and no statutory retention obligations apply, the data concerned will be deleted.
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is:

Important Notice: Your Right to Object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process your personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Where your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to such processing at any time and without giving reasons. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to direct marketing.
You may lodge your objection informally by e-mail to care-10183@qorton.com. |
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether and to what extent we process personal data relating to you. Where such processing takes place, you are entitled to detailed information about the processing circumstances, including an complimentary copy of the data processed.
Where the data stored about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to demand its immediate rectification or completion.
Subject to the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to request the immediate erasure of your personal data. This right does not apply where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data where the accuracy of the data is contested, the processing is unlawful, we no longer need the data, or you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR and it has not yet been determined whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
Where processing is based on consent or a contract and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to have it transmitted directly to another controller.
Where we base the processing of your personal data on a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or where processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. An objection to processing for direct marketing purposes will always be upheld without restriction.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future – for example by e-mail to care-10183@qorton.com or by adjusting your cookie settings on our website. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.
If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority – in particular the authority of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
Competent supervisory authority for our organisation: State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW)
Your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties where this is necessary to achieve the respective processing purpose and is covered by the applicable legal basis, or where such disclosure serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Where we engage external service providers who process personal data on our behalf, this is secured contractually by means of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Purpose and legal basis: Operation and administration of the website on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the uninterrupted operation of the website).
Retention period: Server log files are automatically deleted after a maximum of 14 days. Session cookies expire at the end of the browser session.

Retention period: Log files are automatically deleted after a maximum of 14 days.
When you visit our website, cookies and comparable technologies are used. Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device and which enable recognition upon subsequent visits. They are technically harmless and can neither execute programmes nor transfer malicious software.
We distinguish between technically necessary cookies, which are indispensable for the proper operation of the website and do not require consent, and optional cookies for analytics and marketing purposes, the use of which requires your explicit consent pursuant to Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
